Community Project at Sidney Park JFC

At the beginning of 2020 we led a community project at Sidney Park JFC. Keith Newby, director at New Mills Properties, saw a news article about the dire state of the clubhouse where he used to play as a boy and decided to get involved. After several calls to our trade partners we had a team of volunteers willing to refurbish this tired building.

Inside was a bit of a mess with nowhere to store goal posts and training equipment. The roof was also leaking, the carpet on the floor was damaged and the heating was ineffective. It took just two weeks, with all trades giving their time and equipment free of charge. This is the story so far.

A New Look Clubhouse

Our trade partners and local businesses donated over £9,000 in time and materials to transform this run down clubhouse. Here is a look around the finished project and some photographs of the opening event.
