With just £25,000 to put towards purchasing their first property in 2009, friends Keith Newby and Jonathan Mills became property investors.

They were quickly able to double their initial investment through renovation and by leveraging the equity in their property. This enabled them to invest in further rental homes. As their portfolio grew they established New Mills Properties.

A year later the business expanded further by offering tenant find and letting management services on behalf of others. The business has continued to grow and an experienced team has been established to support it.

With the purchase of their first property Keith and Jonathan established a principle that they were purchasing something more than just a good investment. They wanted to make a positive change for the people living in and around their rental homes.

Jonathan has since moved on to other projects but this principle remains at the heart of every business decision.
