Cleethorpes Property Refurbishment Project

In July 2020 we embarked on another Cleethorpes Property Refurbishment Project after completing the purchase of a three-bedroom house on Warneford Road. It is a typical style house for the area, that appeared to be structurally sound. Most of the planned work was going to be cosmetic but, we were going to spend a fair part of our budget to rearrange the kitchen and fit out the utility area.

Pre-Refurbishment

We bought this property for £65,000 and planned to spend about £20,000 on the refurbishment. We aimed to achieve a re-valuation price of £110,000.

In this video Keith talks you though the plans for the refurbishment.

Cleethorpes Property Refurbishment Project Update

The new kitchen has arrived and a leak has caused additional work in the utility area. Decorators have started work upstairs. Those 1970’s wardrobes have been removed. And a wall in the bathroom needs re-plastering. The pressure is on to enable tenants to move in on 1 September 2020.

Cleethorpes Property Refurbishment Project Review

At the end of the refurbishment project Keith shows you around the property and reviews what has gone well and what has gone not so well.

Despite some of the unexpected work that was required, the final refurbishment cost came in just under budget at around £19,000.
